The Amendt lab is interested in cranial facial and dental development. My current projects involve the role of developmental important transcription factor in specific tooth and facial development; the role of epigenetic marks in craniofacial development; and the study of micro RNAs in the development of the craniofacial region. We use a combination of mouse models, biochemistry and cell biology to address these questions. As the Amendt lab manager, I am also responsible for managing and inventory of reagents, constructs and cells.
